Photo Exhibition from Summer Program 2016

Thanks to continued to support from our donors, the youth in our community were able to have three weeks worth of summer camp. Our Summer Culture Program took place from July 25th to August 5th where participants, ages 9 to 12, worked with professional photographer Randi Freundlich on a photo exhibition to showcase how they view identity and culture in their daily lives. Throughout the program, students explored their identity and culture through photography, videography, storytelling, art, music, food, dance and various means of expression. The program culminated in a final exhibition on August 5th where participants displayed their work and other projects they have worked on throughout the two weeks.
